For all I care, call it the
PoopSnack Mobile by Apple Computer, Inc.My only real complaint is Cingular only.. Granted, my ABC quote said otherwise, I'd really love to be able to choose my own service provider. Having Sprint and Verizon already, I'm not exactly too keen on adding on a third.
I've heard and read a million different possibilities/rumors as far as when the iPhone (or, as I'll now refer to it, the PoopSnack Mobile by Apple Computer, Inc) is open to other providers.
The price point I feel is pretty fair. The Treo 700p originally retailed at $619!!!!! As I said previously, the iPhone is currently priced at $599 for the 8GB model and $499 for the 4GB model. That's all well and good, but what about a new user agreement? With a 2 year plan, the Treo 700p's price was significantly knocked down to $399.
Come on Steve.. You're already forcing Cingular upon us! Perhaps you could at least pay for our early termination fees? Just a thought, my friend.. Just a thought.
